Someone posted last week that there was a pause in Market Location Strategy displacements in Risk (see post titled "Risk Location Strategy"). I've heard something for a different group that was supposed to get their relocation decision letters in November (in advance of being displaced in the coming months), but that was "paused". Does anyone know if there is a larger change to the policy going on?

Commercial has to end of 2026 and consumer end of 2027 for strategy to be complete. This was announced in each group in January, 2024. Let’s talk PAST those dates.
My group just recently got called back to the office. Less than a month in and our work locations were changed back to remote in the system. Management says it is an error that they are working to correct but it's been a few weeks now. I'm wondering if it is to protect a couple of people who live too far from office? And do I even need to go in if my status shows as remote??? I hate all the games this company plays.
@a3 Will there be a communication to this effect? I was planned for displacement due to location early next year.

They have decided to layoff ALL Des Moines employees. That is the new location strategy (and a smart one).
Maybe the firm is for sale or separation of bank and brokerage are on the table. I would love to see brokerage sold to JP Morgan
, which has a small brokerage. Scharf ha no other options.

Finance has told all groups to chill on severance in 2026. To find other ways to cut.
Paused because other LOBs like tech are rushing forward to lay off as many as possible before year end.
