Get out if you are miserable. I worked their for 20 years, made nearly $200k at the point I left, and that's been a year ago. I came back to this board today as a result of a news article I saw about WF and layoffs. And honestly, when I was there, this board served as a bit of therapy for me for the misery. I spent nearly all of my adult life working for WF and couldn't really picture not working there. I had all the concerns you all have about leaving --- my identity, my livelihood, flexibility day to day with an active family, PTO, comfort of knowing I had severance if I was laid off, $14k of health & wellness dollars in my HRA account (would've covered an entire year+ of out of pocket max for my family if the worst of the worst happened).....it goes on. And I left voluntarily without a new job lined up. I enjoy my life better now. You do you.....and I'm just sharing that if you're miserable, you are making a choice to stay miserable.
