I’ve noticed a few people suggest they were laid off just before an employment anniversary or milestone. Curious is any of these people are in the same boat as me, where you were terminated with a couple days of RSUs vesting?

Focal is every year in September for the most part. That means MOST of the company has rsu vesting in September. So yes, there is a pattern. Did you really have to ask? Anyway everyone who was rifed sept 2 makes it to their vests. Stop psychoanalyzing you are exhausting yourself and us.
HR FAQ that was posted says “Unvested RSUs will stop vesting and be canceled on the final termination date.” That seems it would be the actual date of service ending ex. Sept 22.

@aa did you go over the award agreement with them, or just the termination packet? The agreement also included the date that system access terminated or the notice date as events that cancel the award.
@a3 I confirmed with HR just now that "the date you cease to provide services to Oracle or an Oracle subsidiary" is our term date of Sep 22. I can see why this is confusing and so I scrutinized it in depth to ensure that Sep 22 is in face "the date you cease to provide services", despite us being locked out on Sep 2.
@a7 where are you located? The US award agreement is clear that it ends when you receive notice of the termination, or your system access is terminated, or you stop providing service to Oracle.

Pure coincidence. Other posts are citing upwards of 4000 people worldwide. No rhyme or reason as to who gets chosen. Larry's using an axe but if he were smart, he'd use a scalpel.
@a2 that’s not what the termination packet and award agreement suggest. It says that unvested RSUs are lost the day you stop providing serve to Oracle; NOT the final day of employment.
From what I have seen on this board RSU's will invest thru Sept 22nd.
