Thread regarding PNC layoffs

Are we deciding as a whole to scale back on days yet?

Groups are scaling back on 5 days, is this happening in other areas? 2-3 days is enough

@qd if that is true then it means the executives are starting to feel the negative consequences from their terrible RTO decision and poor RTO guidance.

@n7 RTO compliance appears to vary by organization. At a managers’ all-hands, Debbie Guild advised her reports that if an employee is at risk of leaving, they may be permitted to work from home.

My area is 5 days a week unless you've got a reason to be working from home. I have some flexibility but I don't want to abuse it.

I need a job so I comply.

I also know that other companies are full time in office in what I do so it really doesn't matter that I'm in an office, I would be at 95% of companies.

I don't like it, but it's the world we're living in again.

I wonder if people rly rly high up can make the decision for their area. Honestly no emails or communication, we are so lost. I feel areas can vary on #, just have no hard proof

I can tell you with 100% certainty that reports are being generated and are being reviewed for RTO. I don’t know what the future holds, but if you need your job, I would encourage you to follow your managers directions as far as RTO. No one knows if there will be repercussions.

@dr stop watching what I’m doing and worry about your own work. Don’t you have enough to do? I have a medical accommodation. Just because you don’t see me in the office every day does not mean you need to know my medical condition and what my accommodations are. My doctor has provided factual information to human resources. I am within compliance.

Our division/department is 5 days in office with zero flexibility while others aren’t going in at all or are going in a couple days a week. The word “termination” is being dropped frequently with regard to not complying...

I personally have not, but I do know others that have. I also know people who decided not to go in at all since the RTO date. I would like to, but I am waiting it out to see what or if anything happens to the people who haven’t been. When I do log off though, I am offline until the next day, no exceptions on this.
