Our toxic brown nosing DEI manager works in Alpharetta even though all of us work out of Dallas, talk about collaboration . What a joke, every single week at least once on the call she talks about "updating our resume" and to always be applying for other jobs. It gets really old hearing the same thing over and over. There is zero job security in this company. In the last round our director told us we were safe, and then three weeks later laid off four people on our team. You can tell they are lying when their lips are moving.
Document, and when you get PIP or removed.. take them to court. The company is run by nasty 🤢 narcissistic bosses.. no leaders.
Workolace (noun)
A mixture of the words solace and workplace.
A mythical state of workplace tranquility that disappears immediately upon hearing the phrase, "Got a minute?"
I think Toxic Workolace just got drafted by the Broncos.

Mail it in and do the bare minimum. If you don’t care, they have no power over you. I’m here for a paycheck, being market based, I do the least effort for the most reward possible. There’s no incentive to do better. There is no advancement and no extra money handed out in our group, so I do my 8 and head to the house. They created this mess, not me.
Way less real work gets done in the office than ever did from home. People now think their job is justified by simply showing up, and sadly, it is now. Before there was pressure to deliver real results in a timely fashion. Now the only pressure is to meet 8 hours a day and nobody cares about anything else. That’s the culture the “leadership” has created.

I never have liked a toxic Workolace.
I do the bare minimum. I show up at the office and watch Netflix on my iPad at my desk for 8 hours and then leave. It’s an easy paycheck when you realize all they care about is hours in office. Productivity is dead and results don’t matter outside the presence report.
I do the bare minimum while collecting full paychecks. That’s how. If they want to surplus me, I welcome it. If not I’ll hang around until they do.
