This woman and ELT seem to be working non stop to find every way possible to make our jobs and lives harder on purpose for no reason other than greed and contempt for the very people that keep this ship afloat. Is there nobody at the top level that has the guts to stop this vicious woman before she destroys everything? Even the branches are not immune to her insane decision making. It's like she hates all of us and can't wait to sell us out.

I remember clearly the day she came into power. She said “ I am the first”… we all assumed she was going to say female.. “MP that never met Ted Jones”. Now that is a shame and that tracks. Ted would have stopped her energy from moving beyond the Advisor interview! Character matters
@16q Lately I feel like we are having our Enron moment right before paper shredders are rolled out. Everything feels like a big secret is being kept from us while being told "everything is great!"
@16n Where?

EJ is having it's Cr--ker Barrel moment. Anyone noticing a pattern here? Budweiser, Cr--ker Barrel.......etc, etc.
@16n I haven't heard anything solid or from my good sources who are "high up". But, I know a lot of areas we work in OPS that were supposed to be 'safe' from contractors in india, are taking on contractors to do high risk work now. It is being sold as them "just helping out", but we all know the end goal is chop the bodies from the payroll to keep ELT happy. ELT=kid playing with matches in a pine forest during a drought.
New round of layoffs is going down again. What is going on with this place? It seems like they've nickle and dime HOA and FAs so the ELT can pocket everything. This is pretty much robbery at this point.
@OP Regarding your post title, the feeling is mutual from 85% of field and home office. Even the “pronoun warriors” from 2019-2022 no longer like her. There are no more admirers - I know leaders where her name is not allowed to be mentioned in meetings. What is a Fortune 300 company to do?
@fr trying to figure out how they can track down IP addresses and sick HR on us😁
@OP PP wanted to be a visionary EJ leader like Ted but ultimately is a dime-a-dozen follower. When others zig, she zigs too. She needs to be seen and celebrated. That's why she wears bright outfits, an unconscious compensation for her inner dullness.
She's a peacock to distract everyone from how hollow and transparent she is. We might still have a premier workplace if only her parents gave her the attention she grasps at now.
@hj All things that made our company different from the others and stand out as a place you could be like "family" at, she has completely destroyed. Like a child who gets his great great grandfather's watch handed down to him by his father. All he has to do is respect what it is and where it came from so he can give it to his son. However, the child is spoiled, entitled, and arrogant. The watch is dismantled thinking he can "make it like all the other new watches." In the end, it is nothing more than a pile of parts to be pawned off the first buyer. It is nothing now and instead of the child feeling shame, the child is proud of breaking the tradition while lashing out at any family members who tried to warn the child not to mess with it.
Her legacy will be the dismantling of this company. There will be a case study on her incompetence. After all at 30 years when I log off for the last time it is not with sadness as I will not kiss this company, the people yes, but I do not recognize this firm anymore. She has ruined it and its legacy.
@fq DC or KJ has entered the chat.
@fk , hate to say it. I've never had any issues saying a quick hello and having a quick conversation with PP.
Does anyone remember when PP was named Managing Partner and everyone rejoiced as she was advocate for women and the LGBTQ+ community??? Yea….see where that got us!!
She doesn’t even say hello or smile when she walks through the building. Even when greeted by name. She is above us and we are below and we do not matter at all. She doesn’t even consider us. All that matters is her legacy.
Because she is ruthless
Penny will spend her career trying to find her equivalent of the Ted Jones “Richest Man In America” quote to hang in the home office and branch walls forever. Unfortunately for her Ted believed and lived his statement while Penny is just a series of meaningless sound bites not matched by actions. Her legacy will be as the weakest Managing Partner in the history of the firm. Very unfortunate for the great employees who believed and lived the mission of the firm prior to her tenure that no longer understand or feel valued in the organizations current state.
As a member of Washington University alumni, I was shocked to see her name on the board.
