Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Are people getting fired instead of laid off?

Is that the new strategy?

@f1 yes, it's horrible. Looking for perfection when the don't give you the tools nor the salary to achieve

@ek this is true. Although I wasn't fired, it became very clear they were picking to find something. Well pick at anyone and you can come up with something.

Making you prove why they need you in that role. Ummm, you hired me! I didn't apply for this job, you asked me to do it.

The way they run is truly assinine.

My old boss (who is still here) always told me from the start. Keep EVERYTHING. If they try and pin something on you get ready to rumble

@ek this is what XDS is doing. Bringing people from the field under their organization and then performance manage them out. It’s a filthy way to treat people.

People are being allowed to fail.

Lies, double talk, and half truths.

They make it look like you didn’t perform. When you are there to get rid of divisions of people, they have to make it look like you were the issue.

Should be cheaper for the company to fire if they can find a cause. Even if they can't find a cause it would be hard for an employee to prove anything so they can qualify for unemployment.

They need to save money to help pay for golden parachutes.
