Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Is there a point in being honest during an exit interview?

Is there even such a thing? I might be leaving soon, and I had a whole list of things I wanted to say, but then I through why bother if nobody who can do something about it will care.

@OP if you know it was unfair then hold a positive tone and lay out the assessment about the person in charge

Absolutely not. Even if you never return to HCSC, people talk, and our world is smaller than you think. Manage your reputation.

No. I just keep it simple. Never know, you may have to come back. Besides, rarely will they do anything about what you say unless it was criminal activity.

Absolutely no point in being honest as nothing will change. Just thank them for the employment opportunity and move on.

Last I heard- you have to request an exit interview anyway.

Tell the truth. No point in lying. You don’t owe them anything.

Do NOT be honest, and do NOT tell the truth - your employer is your future competition, and you want it to continue on the path of self-destruction. Just say a few platitudes and move on.
