Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Whitacre Tower will be missed

Once we move out of here and into the new Plano HQ we will truly miss what we had down here in the heart of historic downtown. It was a very cool place to be, lots of great restaurants, and the connections made here working over the years. When you visit the AT&T Discovery District you feel as if you have teleported back into the 1990s when people used to dress up and go to work. It feels like such a cultural and historical place. There is so much nostalgia and that makes me a little sad.

Move ATT HQ back to Bedminster NJ....ATT was great back then before Randy and StinkyStankey lost billions on everything they touched....that Stankey still has a job is a travesty!!!! What an irresponsible BOD.

You can start peeing outside the new campus to make it smell like home.

Never been to Texas, never will go there. That’s a place where dreams go to die. Nobody has ever said “I want to move to Plano”

Nice try @OP. That area is the worst possible place in the city where AT&T could have put their HQ. Stop looking for diamonds in human fe--s

@cx Are you even in the US? We put the $ sign in front of the digits, $23, and spell “their” ignoring the ‘i’ before ‘e’ rule you learned in English as a second language class.

I'm really going to miss sidestepping human po-p on sidewalk, walking 15 minutes to my car, paying $21 for lunch, sitting on Teams calls (collaboration!) and having at least a 1 hour commute each way home. Sure will miss this place.
