Insight into job levels

Is there a resource in Workday or on the Intranet with information on job levels? There are open roles in my job level but the titles senior to mine. I’d like to understand how titles align with levels and if there are parameters around levels of new positions that one can apply for.

Just replied under @2pe and hit send to quick.

Also @OP - I learned than most roles usually only allow a one level jump. It would need to take some exceptions (aka you need to know someone that can vouch for you) to get a two level jump.

@OP

I submitted a Workday case and they respond back in less then 10 minutes with your level. It’s hidden for only admins now.

Submit a case as “Other” and then “Other”

Title your case as Inquiry of Career Level and essentially write the details of the case as the same.

@OP so I was a II, Senior, and Lead and they all fell in the same job level. I got promoted and moved to a new job level and the title essentially “started over” with a lower tier sounding title (if that makes sense.

Unless you are applying for something otherworldly out of your league like going from analyst to SMD, it doesn’t matter that much.

Others may have a better understanding
