Are they still actively looking for those who worked less than 6 hours at the office? Or did they catch everyone? Asking for a friend…

Per HR, hours in office in 2025 cannot impact your rating…
No he won't, because people will comply. They'll be even less motivated, but they'll show up to protect their severance and avoid a hellish job market. In the end, the goal will accomplish less than nothing.
Now, Corp Risk has a formal Goal for RTO compliance, plus going to 4 days RTO. DF will be using that as a data point to hand out IMs and firings by this time next year.
None. It didn’t become punitive until they sent the expectation. Communications even said it couldn’t be considered for performance, but you should have a convo and if it continues a workday check in
There were too many just below the c suite level that were on the report. Which meant that they weren’t monitoring their own reports.
If they really want to use coffee badging as a reason to fire for performance, they would have kept the monitoring stealthy until the terminations started, rather than coming out and making 8 hours a day an explicit requirement. My read is that they were hoping to squeeze out more voluntary attrition with the 8 hours rules the same way they did by implementing RTO in the first place, and failed to understand just how drastically the job market has soured in the last 18 months. Maybe a few incorrigible badgers did get fired, but I expect most people just adjusted their behavior once the new rules were made clear, and never heard anything further about it. In the end all management accomplished was to further imiserate their remaining employees to accomplish basically nothing
Keep up these justice fantasies. Nothing happened to any bangers. They kept bangin son
Three in my group and no one was fired. One claimed to even have gotten a raise.
@c8
Yeah, so they can free up dollars to sever folks like me who want it.
Yes, they are looking. Especially because those doing it will be fired for cause and not offered severance. It's a double win for the company to get rid of the headcount and save dollars doing it. So, keep it up.
@OP I am assuming that "coffee bangers" are those that show up to the office and turn around and leave. Badge in/Badge out types. Then they are the ones that thought they were being slick to skirt the 3 day in office requirement. Don't even try to be clever with any preceived rule loop holes. WF will find out sooner or later.
@OP not this one 😞
