It’s not so much the job. It’s going above and beyond to get zero. Year after year it’s a disincentive that impacts morale and productivity. It’s not the job. It’s how we are being gaslighted. Example, the performance ratings set up to squeeze the very last drop of life.

Unfortunately, no. I'm expected to do more and more and more while my pay stays the same and my bonus keeps going down. I want to quit SO bad, but I have been here many years and only have <10 years before retiring. I'm stuck here. The best I can hope for is that they let me go. Then I can collect severance.

Used to love my job but now there is so much oversight and b.s. admin stuff that I hardly get any time to do my actual job anymore.

Used to have real leaders I respected and learned from, but they got pushed out, so we're left with incompetent clueless doofusses who know nothing about what we actually do and only know how to push stupid new rules down on to us. I'm embarrassed for them. the entire top of the house needs to be cleared out, starting with BTM and his favorites. At least one level down, maybe two.

It's a shame because I used to really enjoy my role, my manager and my colleagues. And our clients loved us too. We'd work so hard to outperform.

But now we have a crushing oppression of micro-management, which is just making everything worse.

The profits come from Accounting and Balance Sheet tricks, not real performance or growth.

Oh! and we used to be paid better too.

Yea, it sux now. They just want to make us miserable so we leave and they can avoid any layoffs.

I do not mind the work if the processes are adhered to by all groups. Also, there are some of my co-workers who are annoying that makes the job even worse. You know the type people who think they know everything but do not do the work. These are the ones who get promoted. What makes the job even harder is when I get my pay and the satisfaction gets smaller year after year. No, I do not like my employment at BOA now. The job s*cks and I am not alone saying this!!!

I used to like it. When we had experienced, mature, professionals in management positions.

Not anymore. Used to be a good job with good people who all worked together but that’s gone. It’s way too big with people all over the world. Way too many managers who are in too much of a hurry to hear any suggestions or quick to simply say no we can’t do that. More concerned that people did their 3 day in office requirement . Worked hard with no merit increases for last 3 years (like everyone else) So now just doing enough to get by for a paycheck. Global Risk
