Is Xerox planning on canceling the contract with HCL? Who does Lexmark contract with for offshore low cost labor?

@bg Don't confuse internal Lexmark staff as meaning US based positions. Lexmark had operations in Cebu and India prior to being acquired by Xerox. Lexmark actually hired directly into a Lexmark subsidiary in Cebu and India local staff; they were not contractors. In addition Lexmark / Xerox also both use TSC for IT contractor staffing in the US and Cebu / India / other locations.
After Xerox acquiring Lexmark; senior leaders in Xerox visited Cebu and India and came away wanting to develop additional staffing resources in IT and Development in Cebu and India. Check out recent job postings and locations for Xerox and you will find that leadership is moving skillets which have been in the US to Cebu and India.
It will only be time when leadership says we hired the staff in Cebu and India with the responsibility for the US roles and even without full knowledge transfer we will take the risk and grow into the skill set though trial and error experience and cut the US roles.
As a rep who places calls with all vendors, they all use an “HCL” except Konica Minolta.
It’s like placing a service call with your Mom. Thanks Konica.
I can’t intake much more of HCL BS. Arrogant and incompetent. Deadly combo.
Lexmark runs tech stack in house lex employees and Q3 call with wall street Xerox said they are moving to lex order to cash tech stack
@OP How many HCL people work for Xerox currently, either on-shore or off-shore?
