Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I used to take lots of early morning meetings at home with Indian teams and evening meetings with west coast

Considering cancel this meetings for my office day. It’s hard to be in office by 7am and stay until 8pm to take those calls.

@OP I did that as well…and in the end, it didn’t matter to the Bank. I was in the Charlotte Hub, in the Office 5 days a week, for the full 8 hours and longer, head down, consistently working….I was STILL LAID OFF on July 22, 2025!! ONLY do the 8 hours…logg off! DECLINE meetings that exceed your 8 hours a day and DO NOT work on the weekends!

Don't take calls outside of business hours unless its an emergency type situation. Doesn't seem that complicated for all those 16hr days types we supposedly have all over the place.

West Coast is one thing, but why in the world would accept meetings from India outside hours? Sounds like the tail wagging the dog.
