Nike let us keep our phones when we got laid off. I tried to wipe it today and was met with it still be registered as part of Nike's mobile device management. Does anyone know if this is intentional or the best way to ask Nike to remove it?

Yes. Nike pays for your phone and phone plan and you get to choose which model you want and such. (Apple, Samsung, etc).You can get the latest model if you want. Its a really good benefit.
Just go into settings and delete the mdm…
