To respond to a post on Jan 5th titled "RIP Viasat continued", when the stock traded around $9... thank you for providing the FEAR for everyone to SELL. Because this was the perfect time to be GREEDY and BUY. Go Viasat. I don't think we'll be hearing much on this message board for a while.

Lol. Mo--ns are buying the stock.
@84y Viasat. The Dank Markberg of the Internet surely?
Viasat. The Rube Goldberg of Internet service providers.
Who's shorting prior to the launch?
Viasat's EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) is not sufficient to cover its interest payments on debt.
Slight modification to my ‘being sold’ end-game. The other option…given Starlink’s recent FCC filing to launch another 15k spacecraft to provide a global LEO MSS service in our L/S band…is just to lease the spectrum via Equatys (strange no one realised it is an anagram of queasy) and just forget about investing in LEO ground and space segment infrastructure. Not that we can afford the latter anyway
The Starlink mini is gaining a lot of popularity. Seems like Viasat could do something with phased array, bit the gain required for a GEO probably makes it very difficult/impossible without super cooling.
Yes - clearly Kuiper is unproven at scale...but you would have thought Starlink has taught us something about being complacent. Years of dismissing LEO from every possible angle and then, oh sh...t, there goes our residential market...oh and look at the damage being done to our maritime, aviation and land mobile businesses too. Acquisition (or being sold) is the only option if we really want a non-GEO presence given any 'cat-herding' LEO partnership constellation plans will take far too long at the speed that Musk, Bezos and the Chinese move at
@1hk Wah Wah Wah. A lot of you people live, Wah!!!!! A back up plan, Kuiper isn’t even proven as a residential service, totally understand their budget and capabilities but holy fu-k, what does bezos kielbasa taste like?
please check the most recent JetBlue and Viasat announcement.
Viasat is JetBlue's backup plan if Kuiper doesn't pan out because it still too risky to 100% commit to Kuiper. If Kuiper achieve's Starlink's level of performance, there's no reason to keep Viasat around.
@zy and please check the most recent JetBlue and Viasat announcement. Yall are fear mongering id--ts.
A lot of people run their personal finances like this company is run. All about cash flow. Nothing about balance sheet.
@zy on a quarter of their fleet. lol. doesn’t move the needle.
Looks like JetBlue is going with Kuiper.
