@1w0 You can tell by looking in task manager. And the answer is no.
@1vg
Chances are you do have it on your computer, they just didn't tell you.
@1qv Most (or at least many) of us do not have Sapience on our devices. Sorry that you do.
@1nj Sapience tracking shows when you sign in, when you are idle, how many seconds you were idle, who you teams chatted with and for how long, each and every website and application you are in, the title of the documents and how long you were there, it tracks every second of your day. Sending an email? It tracks how long you had that email open, the title of the email, and who the email was sent to. It shows how long you worked each day and from where down to the second. Don't be fooled, they know where you are and what you are doing. period.
Sapience tracking shows when you sign in with VPN
I've heard rumors about them working on it but nothing concrete. Imagine if they spent the time and effort into enhancing our technology to serve our customers instead of micromanaging employees. We might edge towards somewhat less terrible. But nah that makes too much sense.
@fk - interesting. I just asked my boss, who is one down from the MC, and he said he’s heard of no such report and it’s not something that exists
Just put a punch clock in the conference room that has all the bed bugs. Execs will snicker and giggle with glee.
The answer is a definitive yes.
Regardless of whether or not this report exists, I would not put it past our trash leadership to be this petty. I get it… RTO has been brutal and is being used to eliminate valuable employees but the writing is on the wall.
This bank doesn’t care about you and they haven’t for sometime.
Another svp without the report
@dq You really think they’re going to disclose the source of this report here? That’s wishful thinking.
My SVP has shown me the report personally… it’s very real. Just because you don’t have access to it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Historically the largest layoffs at USB are in October. Been that way for the past 10+ years.
What layoff in October??????
I wouldn't worry about that....you need to be more concerned with the next reorg and major layoff coming by End of October.
The replies are so helpful - with virtually every other one contradicting each other! I suspect the truth is that the data IS available. We’ve all seen our laptops pinging location. But it’s likely not shared out regularly or on any sort of dashboard (except for maybe at the MC level) unless particular teams or individuals are being monitored for due cause.
@de I’m an SVP and do not get that report
@de haven't confirmed where you're getting it from
@b4 I am a VP and can confirm.
They can mention whatever they want. Empty words until they act.
Not sure why people are down voting @b0
They’re right.
Yes.
They also track your location. Through a security feature in windows location services. My laptop does it every two seconds.
@b0 This isn't standard among all managers and groups. How are you getting this data?
They are monitoring VPN and IP access. Don’t think that you can swipe your badge and turn around and go home. I get a report weekly of my employees who badged and how long they were connected to VPN or USB IP.
Not yet. Just do your 11 badge swipes per month.
@OP manager has heard nothing about that though it seems depending who you ask in what group that may be different. I assume the bigger concern is those near a hub coming in <50% of the month. They’ll then ratchet that up to 60%, 70% etc before coming after those who don’t waste away 8 hours/day in office.
