Anyone else get the feeling that Accenture is drawing out this launch to delay their impending layoff? I can’t wait until we are done with these excel jockeys!

So, I just heard that ACN is already planning for next geo plans and we will manage internally outstanding issues. This means they will be given a free pass on existing issues.. Good luck. Hopefully someone in the SLT understands what this means for business teams with all the manual workarounds. It is not a sustainable future.
Why is there so much negativity within SEC. Work seems non-stop.
I can assure you that we've gone live and we've got so many happy users who feel blessed because the ACN work is amazing.
This has been a crazy cutover for SEC EMEA.. I forgot how to sleep
Our go-live only stretched across 4 holidays taking employees across the entire company away from their families on Christmas and New Years. We refused to use pager duty and instead demanded 24/7 in-office coverage from every last team.

Accenture is incompetent and I can only pray the senior leaders backing them burned every last branch of political capital on this emea debacle. This is what happens when you refuse to collaborate or incorporate better ways of operating.
@1eq You either don't work at Nike anymore, do not work in SEC or clearly know anything about deploying an ERP. This go-live has actually gone smooth with normal to be expected incident's as we stabilize. If you do still work at Nike or know colleagues from Nike or Accenture that do please have some respect.
Respect for the endless effort that goes into building/testing and deploying something this large, respect for the time spent away from families to ensure a smooth delivery and respect for those staying heads down doing the right thing with so much change around them.
So, EMEA isn't getting their shiny new system.. lol they just had to copy objects from ipexit s4 to nike s4 system , remediate mana objects and they sc--wed up big time with the upgrade.. 🤦♀️🤦♂️
I still don’t understand why they haven’t shut that program down. It’s funneling money at a loss …
