Employee survey results woke him up

@1db I agree. She was completely worthless and was reduced to a trained seal ,clapping on cue. Pathetic. She sure as hades won’t protect employees.
Unless the id--ts in charge of HR speak up and say they won’t Terminate you for occasionally working from home, it doesn’t matter what Fred Sanford tells you that it’s okay to do.
Did you see the HR lame brain on the EGC webcast? She won’t protect you.
@eg It wouldn't need to be a complete reversal. A change to the amount of days required in the office would be a start. They could look at a hybrid policy to encourage a better workplace culture moving forward.
It would also help with office overcrowding to have set days for certain teams to be in the office. Some of the calls I'm on require a lot of focus. It would be nice to schedule a couple of those calls when working from home where there are no distractions/background noise interrupting the calls.
@e2 You can do a lot with spin, but given how much attention AT&T’s RTO mess has attracted and how committed to this BS our leadership has been, it would be really, really hard to for them to say just kidding, we didn’t mean everything we said and did in the last 2+ years. A reversal is not happening.
@bj They can do whatever they want, whenever they want. No need to admit a mistake. There are always good reasons that can be found to change a policy going forward.
Bye bye? Are you leaving OP?
Fantastic strategy! Keep those corporate profits rolling. Executive compensation has to increase no matter what and you'll be sure that it does.
No matter how poorly we are treated, no matter how demeaning Stank is to us, just keep plugging along like nothing happened. Why should there ever be a consequence?
You are a 🤡
Backing down on RTO would require Stankey to admit to a mistake and all of his lackeys who defended it to also admit it was a mistake. Have you ever heard him do that? Sorry but this ain’t changing any time soon.
@b7
Keep complaining. And we'll continue doing our jobs regardless of where we're mandated to work.
Look, we could be working for the current admin in Washington. Letters went out to all agencies in January to RTO or resign. Things could always get worse here.
You are right - we will never stop complaining. Never stop disengaging. Never stop any act of resistance available.
You are wrong - we don't give a popcorn fa-t about where anyone else chooses to work. Go into the office 9 days a week if it makes you happy.
Nonsense. ATT will still be around in 3 years.
But you have options. You can quit now and go work for a company that allows you to WFH.
You can keep throwing snits here because, gee wh-z, why won't they just listen to you because you KNOW what's best for everyone. You NEED to WFH so does everyone else . And you'll never stop complaining about it. Like ever!
You could refuse to RTO... and like never, ever and just stop showing up.
That last suggestion might be the best fit for you. Seriously.
Cause you're not making any head way like the rest of us plebeians!
It’s not exactly difficult to see this outcome coming how did they even reach that position without basic logical skills?
True. Was already rumored for NPC&E. Hearing it will be official in January 2026.
@af the CEO attempts to compare us to AMAZON and that’s nowhere near realistic, so what’s your point exactly?
Piiiiipe dreamer…I believe you pipe dream through the niiiiight! Woooah, Piiiiipe dreamer…you can pipe dream until the morning liiiight! 🎤🎶
No, they'd rather follow other toxic companies like Amazon who lost a ton of talent in the name of RTO.
"5 day in office is the ‘standard for Apple? For Google? For Verizon? Ummm….no"
You' compare AT&T to Apple, Google and Verizon? Ummm..no.
I hope so
You will be terminated by HR without any ability for direct local management to protect you. The designation formula to remember is 5x8 or terminate.
Heard the same and our organization is already loosening the belt.
Who? Still 5 days here
Bruh, where my ipad?
It is ONLY dependent on if they want you around or not. From the very beginning this policy was targeted toward people they wanted to push out. When you follow the policy and their gaslighting dont work, they give you a severance.
@a3 5 day in office is the ‘standard for Apple? For Google? For Verizon? Ummm….no.
🥱
“Only ones left will be people that can’t get anything else and weren’t laid off.”
Fixed that for you.
Woke who up? RTO is an industry standard.
Woke him up alright, he said you don’t like it leave. Then all his minions said the same. Going to be a slew of retirements at the end of this year. I predict within 3 years, very few people here today will still be here. Only ones left will be people that can’t get anything else. The rest will be gone.
