Heard rumours cenovus sold some assets, any truth to that?

@152 Husky thermal asset - was about 6k barrels/day....better than alot of deep basin assets and much better than CHO.
They need to high grade their investments and sell the clunkers

I’ve been at Cenovus for like 10 years and until they sold the “Vawn” assets, I’d literally never heard of them. Never seen them in a corporate presentation or yearly review. So, if they weren’t being funded or developed, that to me says they couldn’t compete with asset base and were NON-CORE. So selling them was a good move! Monetize the dead weight. Move on!

They should divest it all! It is not competitive in its current form. Operating costs are high, and the organization is inefficient, with too much time spent in meetings and insufficient focus on execution. A different producer could get significantly more value from these assets than Cenovus currently does. The conventional assets, in particular, have been poorly managed.

Might have sold it cheap but , those garbage di-ks wont own us now , yippy Cenovus is the worst company out there so glad not to have to work for them anymore don’t even care if I get a pay cut
