Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Just a Reminder

AC's a walking lie. Every word out of his mouth is garbage—nobody believes a damn thing he says. He’s not a leader, he’s a joke. Terrible speaker, zero tech knowledge, just hot air and buzzwords.
And yeah, he’s right there helping ship our jobs to India, nodding along like it’s no big deal. But he’ll never own it—he’ll just smile, lie some more, and keep his cushy spot while the rest of us get sc--wed.
He should be the one getting the pink slip. Not us. Not the people who actually know what they’re doing.

@cc he's only still employed because of the 2020 social movement bandwagon

he was not on that bandwagon for decades before 2020, pretty much a run of the mill local portland dude, just like any other local dude, tbh

it's pretty sickening to see people 'change their tune' for some extra bucks and job security....he played the system and won, clap clap ac, clap clap....slow clap....

Dont forget the last time we had major layoffs in GT, he went to an offsite with MD during Phase 1 and then he was on vacation during Phase 2.

Also who takes "business" trips to Asia when everyone else is being told to cut costs?????

Leader my a-s. Hes a coward.

@bg Pretty sure it's the one who shares a surname with the composer who wrote Fanfare for the Common Man and Appalachian Spring.

The fact there are 6 VPs with the initials AC is telling that there are too many VPs

@bd There are a suprising number of VPs with the initials AC, but I'm guessing they are referring to someone with more "cope"

You know from day one meeting him he just seemed… off. Like unconnected even while he tried playing the connected card to validate conversations with you. “I feel you man, what about blah blah”.

It’s easy to fall for at first but once you get a sense for it, he is not on your side. He’s handling you. Like a used car salesman.
