@11h management wants to keep people that will train the AI bots, so if you don’t use AI in your daily work tasks, it will be held against you in a performance plan. Training AI is more important than outstanding work output.

@qp is the pip strategy really real? I haven’t heard anybody being affected by this. I also have RSU’s. Maybe I’m next.

Yes there will be layoffs.
This is a company who has and will continue to lay off. Only now with their new "PIP" strategy of identifying 'targets' (communicated internally) they are saying the quiet part out loud. They want to do layoffs without providing a severance.
Anyone still there should start looking now.
