@pn The reason no one discusses the circumstances and specifics of layoffs is because when you are laid off, you sign not to discuss it
@1r4 I heard conversations happened yesterday and today. Not sure how many were effected yet since they give them 30 days to find a new role
@1nx My intel told me another round of layoffs is coming and not specific to contractors.
I have strong intell that layoffs had occured of employees. Its already been done in the case of the one employee I know it happened to. Don't know if there are more coming. Glad I am no longer at BofA in any case.
@111 whooppee
@rj what AZ campus? Hoping it's Chandler so it frees up some parking spaces. LOL
I know 5 people who were laid off in global ops in GA
@wh which group?
3 people let go today in Plano
@OP yup. Arizona getting hit. RCO. Retail credit operations.
I wonder how many m0rons make decisions based upon the b_llsh_t posted here?.. sad
@pk what department? Everyone says they're laid off and gives no hints to what area they worked.. if you no longer work here why not say it. just makes us believe you're lying
I just got laid off this morning. FTE with over 15 years! I am so upset with these decisions!
Getting rid of contractors is not the same as laying off FTEs. While it su-k for the contractor, that is the risk of contract work, it can be ended or cut early… but absolutely not the same as layoffs
I work for EIT and they laid off an associate who had been with the bank for 20 years in April and two weeks later they hired the contractor who was assisting our team and made her a band 5 when many of us have yet to be promoted. This is disgraceful behavior by the bank
Yes no surprise after employee engagement surgery ends hope you all #**%^#^ the survey
There is an effort to reduce contractors either by letting them go or converting to FTE
My manager told me the same exact thing!
