I'm pissed I can't print, forward or save the damn thing and I would live to show it to an attorney. I can understand why Intel did that, its a smoking gun of humiliation in comparison to the FIRST VSP eligibility email which was all puppies and... — read more
Karma is a bitch
10 months ago I was ISP. Always received a Success, never received a verbal or written warning. I had 30 days to leave, but my manager kept trying to get me to leave instantly. On the last day that bastard acted like a dick and treated me like I was... — read more
Efficiency cuts in other PEG groups
So, by now somebody should have more info on other planned cuts in PEG. We've only heard from MVE, what about Arch and DTS/DA? Those were also supposed to be high priority for efficiency/co-location cuts.
Alternative to ACT
1) For old timers and/or ppl who are stagnant in their careers; move them to jobs that does not require innovation , eg manufacturing or offer them a job with pay cut 2) For small non-colocated sites. Offer them a autonomous business challenge. ... — read more
Cobra coverage options
For the cobra option of (6 months + 9k cash), does anyone know how much tax we will have to pay on the 9k? Trying to decide whether to go with the 6mo+9k or the 12mo option. Thanks.
Managers appealing data driven cuts?
Anyone know of managers who are appealing the data-driven decisions because they don't like how they were impacted? For instance, people left at end of April but not included in HC reduction because the cutoff is May 1. Or managers who didn't know... — read more

Intel seems to be lacking a great leader to look up to or is there someone that comes even close?
Great companies have great leaders but Intel does not seem to have even single one.
'Phase 2' actions in any other groups?
So far it seems like MVE is the only group that has started 'Phase 2'. Has anyone heard anything about how this is going to be rolled out in any of the other groups?
It must be really cool to work in the IOT group in Intel
What are you guys working on must be some pretty innovative stuff
Have u received your ISP paperwork?
Still waiting on mine. Can someone say what's the last day to sign and return to get the ISP package?
ERP and VSP folks a word of advice.
Take the package. Try finding a better opportunity for the next two months. If satisfied take it, if not then get back in Intel. I believe they will start needing people in other teams very soon due to lack of man power and increased projects. That... — read more
Fab/Sort MFG unit- ISP count and age from Exibit A - Process Engineers ONLY
60/962 qualified for ISP. Average age of ISP 47. Average age of not selected 39. What do you guys think? According to these numbers another 40 will likely loose their job from VSPs. Have you done a similar analysis for your title and Business Unit?
Forget about the pervasive fog. Enter the chasm
The growth story for Intel ended a long time ago. But the debt has exploded. The financial magic box Stacy was using is empty no more one off tax exemptions. Also 5G and IOT are years away from being able to move the needle for Intel. Prepare for a... — read more

11% seems like 50%
