Been working at Hon for 13 years, have yet to experience a single layoff. We've had furloughs once before and it was not a surprise during the
recession in 2008. Demand is down for 2016, you can blame whoever you want for that but that's the reality. I'd rather see layoffs than the company go bankrupt. Cooporations exist to generate profit so I can't be mad about layoffs after 13 years of... — read more

Let them have our jobs, it's OK, it's good for our shareholders. It completely f***s up our country but it's OK for the shareholders. What happens to our motto "Country First" - what happened to that? Was that forgotten the day we crated the H1B laws... — read more

Infosys Indian Workers Replacing American Workers
Had to train my replacement (from India) to get a severance package after 26 years of providing customer service in the Aerospace Division. There were 240 of us cut from customer service with Infosys getting our jobs. It's just wrong

2016 Honeywell Furloughs Rumors
Do you guys think that we will be having more furloughs in 2016 (I heard February) - I heard this rumor last week

No new contracts, people being let go with no replacements, people in middle management being laid off and do you think this is the end? This is only first in a long line of cost cutting measures. What do you think will happen after the holidays?
