“Momentum. That’s the best way to describe our 1Q 2025 results. We had a strong start to the year, and the V Team didn’t miss a beat.

✨ We took big and bold swings with new experiences, products and plans to give our customers more of what they want and need.

✨ We also showed our appreciation for our employees with our first-ever V Team Day, and we will continue to celebrate how our people are the power behind our purpose.

And here’s the best part….there’s so much more to come in 2025 and beyond. We have built Verizon to be number one, and that means we are focused each and every day on making our best even better.

Things are great! Sharing our CHRO’s thoughtful and totally on the mark post that makes me proud to be a vteamer! Vz culture is the envy of the world. Humbled and honored!

We talk a lot about culture — but culture isn’t what we say we value. It’s what our systems, habits and decisions show we value.

Too often, we treat culture like a communications plan — something we define in words, campaigns or values statements. But culture doesn’t shift because we say it should. It shifts when we change the systems behind it — when leaders take risks, make different choices, and model through action and accountability what those values truly look like.

At Verizon, we often say our values guide everything we do. But that only happens when each of us practices them — in how we show up for our customers and communities, and in how we care for one another.

That’s exactly what our Culture OS is about. It’s not a campaign or a checklist — it’s how we build our values into the way we work every day. It’s how we make our culture real and lasting.

Because culture isn’t something we communicate.

It’s something we practice and live — in every decision, every interaction, every day.

“13 is our lucky number” — no, 13 is the number of reorgs since Q1, managers reshuffled, and employees told to reapply for their own jobs.

They post tenure stats while gutting teams.
They hashtag “culture of care” while ghosting long-timers.
They celebrate LinkedIn likes while quietly slashing headcount behind the scenes.

This isn’t leadership. It’s optics.
It’s PR drag dressed as people strategy.
It’s a masquerade of care, timed perfectly to distract from what’s coming next.

For those still inside — head on a swivel.
For those already out — you didn’t miss culture, you escaped the illusion.
