To my riverbed family. As I sit here on this Friday afternoon, looking out the window, there’s an uneasy calm overhead- a true storm on the horizon, some would say. And let me tell you, it isn’t just this area of low pressure from the Alaskan gulf bringing these cool temps and rain to the Bay Area. No, I think I’ve got a feeling of a bigger storm. A storm the likes of us have not seen in quite some time.

I know some of you are feeling the same and deep down we all know it’s regarding the storm that’sh--ting WEDNESDAY AT HIGHNOON. There seems to be a break in the forecast with sun predicted midday. LET ME TELL YOU RIGHT NOW MY RIVERBED FAMILIA, LIGHT WILL BE SHINING DOWN ON US GUIDING OUR WAY AS WE LET EVERYONE KNOW JUST HOW POWERFUL THE #RIVERBEDFAMILIA TRULY IS.

I don’t know how much longer I’ll have to be on this thread today but I assure you I will provide updates over the weekend as our date of destiny nears.

Here’s what we can do in the mean time...

1. Wear orange on Wednesday, it can be riverbed branded or anything you want but we must show unity and nothing screams solidarity like a true color coordinated movement

2. For those of you bringing signs, and believe me, quite a few of us are, please keep in respectful and meaningful. Negative language doesn’t move the needle- an empowered message PREACHING our movement does.

3. I will be passing out pins to wear that will say #BRINGJERRYHOME and #RIVERBEDFAMILIA. Supplies are limited so I will be delivering these to those whonrequest it Tuesday afernoon. Any leftover supplies will be handed out on Wednesday

4. Be ready to bring your singing voice and PASSION. I have a few songs lined up to inspire unity and solidarity, you don’t have to join but NOTHING sounds better and carries more weight than a group of beautiful voices IN UNISON hitting every high note with the highest of highs and low baritones with the lowest of lows.

5. There will be an open mic towards the tail end for anyone who wishes to tell a favorite story or give their own thoughts. This is a no judgment space, all are welcome!

Dante, I always knew I could count on you. Bringing a damn tear to my eyes this morning.

For the rest of you, I’d like all of you to know that I slept on it last night and woke up today to tell you THAT I’VE NEVER HAD MORE CLARITY OR PURPOSE IN YEARS. In speaking with some around the office yesterday, they too, share similar sentiments and truly believe it’s time to flex our muscles a bit.

Also, just to clarify: No where did I explicitly say a walk out, that was assumed by another person on this thread. I, for one, will be in the front of that building as a sign of solidarity but I assure you I will be back in my office working towards whatever objective upper management decides is the focus for that week.

You don't have to join, nor do you need to comment on this. But clearly you throw rocks towards my glass house accusing me of having no answers and wasting your time when you probably should be focused on your job and not on these rumor mill sites. The fact you are even on here and aware of it just goes to you have a level of insecurity about where things have been trending as well.

Again, you don't have to join. But if you were to take our your headphones and actually talk to your colleagues outside of your immediate team, you would realize that there are many great people putting in great work here that is dismayed at the lack of transparency and disregard for employee communication.

While I think this post is a clear joke, I'm joining the cause. Not expecting this to materialize but I'll be there for at least a few minutes on my way out to lunch on Wednesday.

I'm confused, is it #BRINGJERRYHOME OR #BRINGJERRYBACK because I see both listed?

Well, with that attitude you're right, nothing is going to change. THATS WHY I'M HERE ON THIS PLATFORM MAKING A STAND. ITS TIME TO TURN THIS PROGRUM AROUND AND BRING US BACK TO OUR GLORY DAYS.

While I'm not expecting immediate changes, A MUTUAL WALK OUT AND SHOW OF EMPLOYEE UNITY IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE WILL SEND A MESSAGE THAT WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS SLIPPERY SLOPE.

You've missed the overall tone of my note. While the main message is #BRINGJERRYBACK, the overall message is that we need to show THAT WE'VE HAD ENOUGH.

I don't know about you but I am sick and tired of coming into this once beautiful office everyday wondering if this is the day I pickup my kids from school with a cardboard box in my left arm with all of my personal belongings.

You might get off on this kind of thrill but IT MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. I said in my original note that I am nothing but a kind, simple man who, at times, gets a tad bit emotional. I miss the days where the biggest question looming over me was, "Is there still a Mt. Dew in the breakroom" and "Is that random intern going to destroy me again on the ping pong tables"; instead, they've been replaced by am I getting canned today.
