Voluntary severance package
There are probably many important reasons why this company has not considered voluntary severance package… What are your thoughts?
Next RIF date?
Does anyone know for sure when the date for the next RIF is? I heard it will be the week of April 3 but then heard the week of March 27.

Layoffs are not the end of the world
So, I've been through a few rounds of layoffs myself, and you know what? A lot of us who got laid off ended up doing even better for ourselves afterward. It's important to keep that in mind, and not let a setback like that get you down. Who knows... — read more
Despicable culture based on fear

What about contract workers
Are most being let go too?

April Layoffs
So.. after being transitioned over to Optum, if we are told in April there is no position for us, how will the layoff/severance work?
We all know we should flee…
Morale is nonexistent. Neil caused the toxic environment. "If you don't feel it, flee from it. Go where you are celebrated, not merely tolerated." — Paul F. Davis
Withholding a weeks Pay
I haven’t had time to look at the Welcome center portal through Optum and I saw they are going to withhold one’s week pay for the April 14th deposit! What do they except us to do?! How am I supposed to pay my bills? No bonus and higher premium rates!... — read more

Is today’s layoff on hold?
I heard today’s layoff was on hold. Not sure if for everyone or just certain departments. I wish they would just rip the band-aid off. Until the next one they’ll continue to suck the life out of us. Neil is a doucher.
Prayers
Praying that the RIF that’s happening tomorrow isn’t a slaughterhouse like the one I was involved in 2/9. Change Healthcare with their get rich mentality has left a sour taste in my mouth. A person that was literally turning down opportunities to... — read more

Managers - let them go
If anyone needs to be laid off it should be the managers. Way too many. Way too many that do nothing or know nothing.
Transition Letter
I was told that if the transition letter wasn’t received yesterday or at some point today, we are part of the big RIF. Any insight into that? Some say it’s in alphabetical order, but I know people who received it and some who did not.
Still haven’t received my transition letter :)
No one on my team has either… no reason to freak out I guess…
Titles
So if I'm currently a level 2 what will I be under Optum?
Received Transition Letter, Am I In The Clear?
As the title says, received transition letter and background check request today. Does that mean I am in the clear on layoffs for the alleged March round of layoffs?

RIF Fear
Does anyone but me think that even if you get transitioned, you will have to worry about losing your job every single month?
New job title/comparable pay
So Optum is saying we will be given a new job title that will fit what we're currently doing with a grade level pay that meets a salary based on comparable jobs & comparable pay, well I'm making about $4.00-$5.00 an hour under that, and I don't think... — read more

I’m confused. Are we under optum now or will we be under optum when/if we receive our transition letters?
I’m looking on LinkedIn. Neil the ceo has put that he started working at Optum in Feb 2023. We have merged but we haven’t become optum employees right?
New insurance
Getting hit with incredibly bad insurance, loss of PTO time, float days, after looking over the new benefits I am shocked at what we're offered. Still need to make it through next week with a offer letter from optum to see if we still have jobs.
