There will be a big volume of lay offs next week across all groups and more to follow in February. Work from home and other soft benefits will be a thing of the past, decreasing employee numbers is the intended end goal.

We were hit again yesterday. I heard of just one person in Westborough.

The rumor in the office is that the severance package will be changed and it will max out at 6 weeks. Not sure if this is true, but I heard it from two different sources. So, take it with a grain of salt.

A few hundred India employees in Technology were laid off today on 16th Oct, 2018. There will be more lay offs here in days to come.

I was just let go a few weeks ago after working there for 5 years at the Northpointe location. I also heard thru the grapevine that the Northpointe office is closing and that BNY is cutting 20% of the total workforce.
