If you are MR75 or will be next year...

It's imperative that you determine FOR SURE whether you are or are not eligible for subsidized medical. Many are not. I was. Don't guess at this. You can wait on hold with benefits for a definitive answer, but the quickest way to check now is to look... — read more

The Real Culture

How we connect

By betraying anyone that has worked for AT&T for more than 20 years by taking away PTO ( a little painful) and retirement benefits ( very painful). That’s candor, and the truth. New or prospective employees be warned.

M75 Medical Insurance Subsidy

I hope that folks know that just getting to M75 does NOT mean you get subsidized medical insurance when you retire. You all really need to check this out with HR, as it is based on several, individual factors.

MTP and Today’s Healthcare Subsidy Changes

So, anyone know if you get laid off in 2021, can you still buy into the Management Transition Plan to get the subsidy? I would be MR75 eligible in June 2022, so trying to decide if I still have a shot at the subsidy.

Pension Email

Anyone go to MIT that can explain what this pension email that came out is about?

Cost savings suggestion

Outsource the entire C-Suite to Tech Mahindra. Let’s face it, the clowns at TM can’t possibly be any worse than the clowns we have now, and they’d happily work for .20 cents on the dollar.

Very Disappointed in the PTO Changes

As a 20+ year employee, the loss of essentially a week of PTO is disheartening. I know it's a 2 day net loss, but any loss for employees that have persevered and been loyal is just inappropriate. Instead of being able to take a week at my... — read more

1Q2021 employee reductions

What are the known plans for reductions in 1Q2021? Now that AT&T has announced no dividend increase it is obvious they are struggling. 2020 saw large employee reductions and increased outsourcing with several top levels leaving in 2019 & 2020. We... — read more

Is there IPI for 2020?

I haven't heard from HR about this yet (go figure). But I had two team members that had a great year. In a typical year, I'd have at least 2 slots to grant a "high IPI" award. But with IPI going away, are they SOL for 2020? Or does the loss of IPI... — read more

culture as sedative

So what? It's christmas and everybody happy? When is the next wave of layoffs for Stankey to save money? "New" culture is so passive-agressive, trying to make employees to forget about layoffs and the incompetence of management.
