This is a company on the brink of a total failure mostly due to the CEO and extremely poor hires from TIAA. I would fire all those executives from TIAA (where they failed) and build on the people who are already there

Many people were notified today that tomorrow is their last day of active employment with AIG. The company has changed.

It looks like AIG will follow Facebook and Toyota cost saving plan by moving most of their technology services from the North East to Texas. Unsure how many people will be impacted.

Last year all was fairly good, now all of the sudden things move, people are complaining and there are rumors about layoffs NYC.

AIG quietly laid off many workers from the Houston office at 2929 Allen Parkway. All levels and seniority it seems to meet some unknown number. My area already had attrition despite increase in work & volume.

Why so silent here? Many companies have active boards, yet we have layoffs today but nobody is reporting anything

This week a total of 1,200 employees will be axed from AIG. Layoffs occurred in New York, New Jersey ,Atlants and all over the USA this week. They will continue through this year and also 2017.

You can expect massive cuts as soon as all is done with spin-off, the back office will be decimated and job cuts will continue into 2017
