Union got outmaneuvered by V

Late afternoon, early evening, note the incoherent rhetoric from "union" employees late in the day. There is a reason for that (Facebook theories put to test here). It's sad; however, true. It is plainly obvious. I wonder how many union folks had to... — read more
Bottom line EWAs want to go home and Strikers want to go back to work. Will the Union and Company let that happen this week?
May 20 huge date. Is this for show or are the parties serious about getting a contract done?
See in real-time how well we are doing in the Northeast. Our network is in great shape due to the hard work, long hours and millions spent.

Yes or No
Looks like VZ is starting the week off bad. Federal Government has told them to play nice. Based on the tone from Mudge they are in the hook and this is now in court of public opinion. They now have competition on the Yahoo deal. Do you come back to... — read more

Burning Question Of The Day........Did Any Drunk EWA Staff, Run Over Anyone Today?
Just how Drunk does an EWA member have to be to show up for work, and hit a pedestrian AND Police Officer at 8:20 AM! God Bless Our Customers.
Why aren't bargaining sessions televised
I think for everyone bargaining negotiations should be televised that way everyone can see the results and attitudes why hide behind closed doors
Hey picketers no need to waste your breath as I drive across the picket line!
I gots my Hip Hop nigga music blasting and can't hear a single obscenity your yelling! Just thought I'd share that since your voice may be important when a contract is finalized and you get ur fat assback on the phones!
What will Tomorrow's Outcome Be?
My guess is the company will not cave in to any changes. No movement will be made. Anyone else?
EWA employees are buying new cars , overwhelmed with their direct deposits :-)
what else they need? even get RIFed , happy !!
flexible work force movement
The company already has the ability to move people.. The problem is how they actually do it. Its almost always a last minute notice, like we need to know by the end of the day. They never have answers.. how long will it be, etc? Its always we dont... — read more

Why hasn't Verizon posted the labor secretary's comments on the company website? The union posted it.
More information that is being held back by Verizon. Keeping the employees in the dark , afraid of dissention in the EWA group? Or was it the spin they would have to endure ?
The stipulation in LBFO prob cause NLRB lawsuit

Now that the Dept. of Labor is forcing the union to get serious about bargaining and stop wasting time, the union will accept that they've lost and take either the LBFO or the mediation offer before the deadline of 5/20. My money's on the LBFO.
Thanks a lot Lowell!
