Up to speed today

Hans seemed to talk in circles and not say anything tangible. It’s going to be great, it’s going to be great is all I heard which really means a wing and a prayer. But he’s the one making 20 mil a year and flying around on private jets. — read more

VCG better get ready …

Sh&& is about to get real in VCG. Deliver or get out. No more excuses for poor results and lack of leadership. When is Hans leaving? Who is taking over VCG? I heard Marni is coming back to do another yahoo/aol deal. How many subscribers have we... — read more

Manon Brouillette GONE!

Hans fired Tami and now Manon. While I applaud both moves, it is just a sign of his failure and inability to lead. When the numbers continue to stagnate into 2023, Hans will also be gone. Unfortunately he will drag many of us down with him in the... — read more

There is just no way to reduce this amount of stress and release tension after a hard day of work here. I love my job, but most of the time I feel exhausted. Is the pay worth it? - I don't think so. Do the majority of people who left have... — read more

Chief Data Officer Contract Not Renewed

She's gone as of the end of the year. Verizon has decided that no one inside Verizon has any value or good ideas, and it continues to backfire from the CEO and all the way down. She was an external hire and was in over her head. They've... — read more

MEGA EISP coming out soon

That’s what I’m told by a friend who is a director. Coming out next week, want 1500 off the payroll by end of the year.

Some are very good at flying under the radar

Another round of layoffs coming in January

For everybody saying RIFs only happen at certain times of the year, remember that we are in a different macroeconomic environment than we were in the last 5 years. Heads are about to roll.

Can't even imagine my 20th anniversary here

Some workers stay put here for decades. - What is it, loyalty or lack of ambition to make greater progress in their career? Unless I could achieve some progressive growth in a company, I would not stay anywhere longer than 5 years.
