Do you know, how many jobs were lost in the merger. We heard many stories about synergies between US Food and Sysco but I cannot find anyone talking about many careers destroyed and people being laid off. Thank you!

Today 2 departments at the NSC were given their 60 day notices. With the threat of the FTC not approving the deal USF needs to recoop their financial losses. These will come in the way of layoffs. Happy Holidays

Nothing else to add but I think that USF will be just fine in 2014, prices are up and overall we are doing better.

US Foods will close our facility at 37 NW 122, OKC - over 100 people will be affected. The WARN notice was filed already. This is very sad as I know many people who worked there for very long time.
