The death of an industry, waste, mis-management ? However the "elephant" ……..(technology) lays waste to decades of blind process. Wheels and cogs in a seemingly self autonomous load, that writhes and slinks its way along. Until now.
Bright young minds, minds we groomed. have found themselves at the door of technological change. The winds are bringing in the newest, latest ,shiniest, fastest. most seamlessly connected network offerings we have ever seen !!! Forever changing the face of ALL media as we know it.
Our company was not in step with the lightning fast change....and found itself no longer on that leading edge...……..SO the merge , and the complete transformation of ideology. and to the only logical answer to the demise...? The build and exploitation of "Transport" !!….
Common dsl customers ? copper infrastructure? for what? The electricity spent keeping many of the remotes running in all probability ,is barely paid back by customer revenue? face it...….another great American entity will fall as we know it
We are not alone. AT&T, Frontier, Verizon everyone's feeling the presence of the "elephant" in the room technology is forging ahead and forever changing the landscape of media and delivery. So then it would seem logical, if your in a position that directly supports transport, or in a Gpon area, your probably in the game a inning or two yet.....
