If you're like me and you have 15 years or less at honeyhell, it's for us to leave. There is no future in AERO especially. The ALT is running this company straight into the ground for their own benefit. Wageswill continue to remain stagnant, HR will continue to deband roles out of band 4, they will consider almost every role you want to take as a lateral, all while senior leadershit rakes in millions at your expense. Make no mistake, the company WANTS people like us to leave, if they didn't they wouldn't treat us this way. It's time we take their advice and seek better opportunities. The time to look is NOW, while it's still conventient. Don't wait to get RIFd before you start your job search. There are better opportunities out there! We don't need to tolerate this sh-- any longer. Don't worry about who will do your work when you leave, they will gladly just assign it all to your coworkers in their effort to do more with less (or in HONs case, try to do more with not enough).
You can decide to stay and stick it out, but in my opinion, that is crazy. For those of you who think we are just in a gulley and we will pull through on the other side, you're wrong. It will NEVER get better. Let me repeat that, the situation at HON is NEVER going to improve. This is the new normal. Completely unrealistic deadlines, impossible metric targets, people not being replaced when they leave, etc. This is not a hump we are trying to get over then things will get better. The future at HON is RIFs, furloughs, outsourcing, budget constraints, and no career growth. Like I said, under 15 years in service, it's time for us to all find better opportunities with real career potential.
