the odds are that if you're qualified and knowledgeable in your role, the odds of you being promoted are not good. I'm not sure if it's because they know they have too many chiefs and not enough native Americans and promoting them reduces productivity, or that they don't want intelligent people in those roles. Not sure which, maybe both. Safe to say that if you're driven, smart and use critical thinking, you will not go far at HON.
In all honesty @Ohs25K0-1dfj, it seems more to me that current management at Honeywell does not want to promote anybody who they feel could threaten their jobs down the line. Better management would not have to fear such scenario, but with what we have...
