METRICS SET TO UNATTAINABLE TO AVOID PAYING FURTHER SEVERANCE OR UNEMPLOYMENT: STICK TOGETHER....WE MUST STICK TOGETHER: SEEK LEGAL GUIDANCE

This is great site and we must spread this as way to finally communicate without fear! We should really find a way to reach out to some type of legal representation regarding set, unattainable, metric expectations within standard workdays and no overtime pay. Although we are salary, we have no flexibility in our schedule to meet our needs, family's needs, our health. We only have flexibility in working 10-12 hour days to survive ongoing threats of PIPS and potential termination. You are correct!!! We need to unite together and agree to not kill ourselves to make these unattainable expectations so that the metrics reflect they are going beyond what other employees are doing to achieve and is solely imposed on our department so that we are “set up to fail”, THAT is what makes it discriminatory. And by discriminatory, I mean illegal. This is totally a way to get us to quit so that they do not have to pay severance nor have to pay unemployment benefits! https://www.nela.org/NELA/

Completely agree if we all get 8-9 contacts daily and stick together. So tired of 10 hour days.

Like the previous anonymous said... I was thinking the same thing. Florida is a " right to work " state which is a George Orwellian idiotic phrase that really means companies have the right to not allow you to work for any reason. I am an RN x 5 years here. I like my team and coach. Hate the metrics and fake we care about your well being Yea right to make the ridiculous metrics we sit with no breaks even though we are salary Treated like hourly with the now constant monitoring of our every second. I am

Looking elsewhere ( always have no matter who I have worked for). Like others have said it's pretty sad the members suffer the med and premium costs. We suffer the poor pay for what we do to make the company look good in mbrs eyes. All the while Franke and those above get big bucks pushing us around. I would like to get more people to know about this site but am a little fearful of who I can trust to share.

Yes, we must fight for what is fair. However, Florida is a right to work state. You can be terminated at any time, for any reason and for no reason at all. Severance pay and a 60 day notice is actually nice, as in Florida, companies are not required to give you anything at all. I hear some people get to keep their PTO as well. I hear there have been layoffs at Aetna and a couple other insurance companies too. Check out Aetna's page on this website. They have similar issues that we do

I completely agree the metric is completely unrealistic and I am so sick of seeing the perfect experience slogan. You get 39 mins to speak to the member no matter the needs or translation considerations. If you are over this time you won't succeed in obtaining metric for the day and seal your fate to work after hours for free! HUMANA is the only beneficiary in this process the member loses real case management experience as nurses are scrambling to salvage their career and license liabilities. Never been so unhappy working for a company and would have preferred to be given the severance package. Their practices are violation of labor laws, no time for breaks or lunch because you some how miss the require 6.5 hrs of dialer time resulting in a PIP. Their tracking system only works in their favor.

The merger is NOT a dead issue. Both Aetna and Humana plan on announcing their plan on 15th of this month. EG: Plans such as if appealing decision. There are changes in the DO.

I think this is in reaction to political changes such as the DOJ or changes that will be occurring in healthcare from reactions to the new administration. It doesn't matter whether it is Deb or Rep, Medicare often has changes ready to go and they wait until a new administration comes in so the public thinks it is a result of the new administration. I find it ironic that Yates was let go, Sessions is being considered and then we have lay-offs in a few days. So, is there a possibility the merger will go thru and they need to get rid of folks? Aetna lost people at the end of last year so maybe it is our turn. They feel as though they would have too many people with a merger. OR what type of things are coming down with medicare?

Yes....it's both hcmrn and hcmss. They said we were good and had nothing to fear because HAH is growing but obviously that's a lie. Not killing myself just to get numbers. They truly don't care about us or the member.

Part of the problem includes the shaky future of medicare, Medicaid and ACA plans.
