The last few years have been one bad decision after another

I wonder how Stankey still has a job. I'd have been fired a long time ago if I had done my job so badly.

From my experience with my coworkers, doing your job poorly would not have gotten you fired. There is a lot of that going around. AT&T gives a lot of money out to people that do a bad job.
