This is the last weekend until 7/27 when everyone who accepted the VSP finds out their last day. Starting Monday, it's going to be a reckoning for managers and PLs.when they find out how much of the work force is decreasing. I'm getting on that lifeboat before the Titanic sinks.

15+ years with the company. I can't do this anymore. Not with the type of leadership we have. I'm so glad I applied for the VSP.
@cm May 2027? How can they offer a VSP with last day at 9/4/26 but then push it out until May 🤔
@b4 Me, too!!
In our team 50% applied for it; not sure what will happen with the business unit or how they'll operate or move things around in the future but what I do know is that half of us feel the need to jump ship, that should tell you something. Much luck to everyone that applied and to those who stay behind I hope you are appreciated and not treated badly (increase productivity or performance to make up for those gone).
@a5 I lost 1/2 my team to the 2023 lay offs now as a PL 6 of 10 applied on my team. Not that I blame them with the direction I see things going in our roles. 😔
Some VSP applicants are going to be accepted but expected to stay until as late as May 2027 due to business needs. Answers may not not come Monday as promised, but they are hoping they will be able to get answers out to staff Monday and PL on their staff who applied and were accepted Friday. Anxious weekend!
Wishing everyone good things whatever path you chose.
Yes, you should have.
Wishing the best of luck to all VSP applicants! Have a great weekend. Every workplace has hurdles, but I hope you find success and what you need to thrive. Cheers!
Enjoy the weekend! Hopefully we will all get approved on 7/27/26 and ride out into the sunset to better opportunities.
Great run!
Ya’ll got me over here thinking I should have taken the vsp.
@ad As a gen xer, I am going to tell you to go sc--w yourself.
@ad Thank you. SL
I am very sorry to those of you feeling stress this weekend over this and feel bad for those who’s employment with this company will come to an end on Monday, to no fault of your own. It most definitely is not fair and it is an emotional event to have to go through. It used to not be like this back in the 1950’s, when a person could work for the same company until they retired and with a full pension, not some 401k based on how the stock market is doing. Anyway, I digress. I don’t have an agenda for this particular post except to express my heartfelt sympathy for you. I had went through it myself. Praying for you all!
Unless they push things back a month or two again…
@OP team of 20 losing 4 that I know if.
Might as well enjoy the weekend while we wait for our VSP answer on Monday since nothing is going to happen between now and then. Wish the best for everyone!
I am ready to jump ship as well!
