All it takes is everyone or the majority saying they will not be participating in it anymore and there is nothing they can do. They can't NSI everyone! Spread the word and make them stop!

The problem is imperial employees are too scared and don’t get that they can make a huge difference. They just keep hoping things will get better, but they’ll only get worse. People in the comments are already arguing the original post instead of saying this is a great idea.
@az replaced it with one that is more normal and doesn’t force people into the bottom categories unfairly as the employees just said they would no longer get do it if that’s the way it was going to be.
Seriously asking: What happened at Chevron? Did they replace the assesment process with something else?
The problem isn’t the form, the problem is the rigged assessment system and what happens after the form is done. But the company is very set on the process.
If you want change, I would recommend looking externally. Pretty much any company is going to have a performance assessment system but at a lot of other places, it is far less toxic.
People here don’t realize how much power they have and that they don’t have to put up with this. Everyone just keep blindly follows these d-mb processes.
@OP it’s okay, just let it go. Imperial is not what we thought it was and the best thing to do at this point is leave and watch it burn from a far while our ‘kindly do the needful’ colleagues flounder hopelessly. Eventually they’ll find some reason to justify divestment due to underperformance and then a proper Canadian ownership structure can hopefully take over whatever is left.
