Only the DB software is of any use, I must admit the DB is actually "enterprise worthy", the rest of the cobbled up cr-p bought from other companies to cook the books (thanks Safra), is well cr-p. When senior management was asked why the current release su-ks and why it needed massive patching...."oh that's what customers expect", that's how we make 50% of the revenue (maintenance). Unfortunately the id--t customers have no clue, the bugs are there on purpose. Otherwise support would be eliminated or cost reduced. Just think an actual new release that actually works out of the box. AI will help patch, good luck.

@dh This is more likely to happen....and Ru-p has bought significant shares of other companies. This would make Oracle a govt entity, once done there is no turning back.

Bond lenders get their money first and stockholders share out whatever is left.

Trump give his buddy Larry a bone soon and buy 10% stake in the company.

Why would US bail out? May be it can hand out big cash for a govt contract, but it will be challenged in courts immediately. But the odds are very very less.

@OP The US government is a corrupt POS, and they have given money to the racist South African by way of grants to pay for his pet projects, but it is not Oracle's time to get any of that funding yet.

Hahahaha. I would have continued laughing but then realized that it would just take a couple of million funneled through the right channel to fix this.

Lesson: There's a fix!

Bailing them out of what? The company hasn't failed, yet. Even when the apocalyptic collapse of the AI bubble occurs having more infrastructure won't be a top priority.

US Gov will not simply hand a blank check bailout. It would not protect shareholders or executives. it would be more of structured bankruptcy similar to how the gov handled GM. keep essential operations running, restructure debt, replace leadership.

Oracle is NOT too big to fail.
If the company goes bust the assets will be sold off. The ERP and DB business will continue as a viable concern.

Pull yourself together and stop spouting nonsense.
