I noticed some changes in the Customer Service area. I think that the main guy that came from Cigna, a VP in Customer Service, is no longer with HCSC. Is this a one off thing? Or is the trend now to replace leadership coming from Cigna with HCSC leadership?

There was some Cigna person on the IT side who resigned in the last month or so. He was gonna be one of the top people in the IT reshuffle but surprised other leaders by deciding to leave.
Apologies if vague, I don't really understand/know the Cigna people
Any new layoffs in the last few days or any to come?
Any more still miserable and leaving?
All the Cigna leaders were miserable. Some found new roles quickly, some quit without a role lined up, some took longer to find new roles.
Or they left before they got the boot!!!
@h8 LOL, HCSC employees don’t need your help to know what is and isn’t normal.
@g0 agree and I think the presence of the Cigna employees has helped to pull back the curtain on that and showed the HCSC employees that so much of what they thought was normal or ok definitely was not.
Ever think that maybe HCSC leadership was not as lucrative as Cigna had been and that's why they are leaving for better opportunities?
@g0 In any acquisition, there will be trade-offs. To say people left due to bad or toxic culture is inaccurate. If hate is what you want, I am sure others will agree with you.
I bet if you worked for Meta or Google and had to look for a job every few years, bet you’ll say their culture is toxic too. Every company evolves over time. The issue, the people that are lifers and hate change. Good luck with that.
@b4 before coming over, employees of Cigna/HS heard how bad HCSC was. Toxic culture, disorganized chaos, etc. Many believed it or quickly observed it and left. Those who have remained likely had the few rare good HCSC leaders, but have now had 15 months to see how truly bad the culture is at this organization. Many at HCSC seem to have been here a long time and don’t have knowledge of how other companies function. No company is perfect but HCSC is very bad in many ways.
They shut down all the buildings to balance out all the costs for the acquisitions and also the lawsuits. WFH is going to bite them in the butt.
@c4 yeah but these ones feel more significant since they stayed longer then the others and I am pretty sure this signifies the end of HS leadership, which is worth noting.
HealthSpring leaders have been consistently resigning for 15 months. Very few left.
The lead over HealthSpring IT also resigned. Makes you wonder what the HealthSpring senior leaders know or see that is so bad they are choosing to leave.
@a8 lol ok. Keep convincing yourself of that.
@OP Why not? The business we bought was/is a train wreck.
