No need to wait for anything, just update your resume and apply for a better employee friendly company and interview and once you get offer, exit. Simple. Staying longer here will only get you more misery.
The only reason DXC won't fire en-masse, is that it lowers the valuation of what remains of the business more than the cost of getting rid of staff "fairly" anyway.
@OP there seems to be a push to use pip to fire people.
I suspect the "use ai" goal added to your goals this year is exactly for that purpose.
