Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Don't count on a future at PepsiCo

If you're smart, you should have been actively looking and applying for a job from the start of the year, if not sooner. No one is safe here, and I think that's been blatantly telegraphed for a while now. This is not the same company I joined 15 years ago, that's for sure.

All of the seasoned veterans with genuine bottler experience and leadership qualities are gone ….

Current iteration of the company is retail / large-format focused (doing poorly at that, I’ll add) while foodservice customers- large and small , are simply floating around in a PBC customer service toilet , abandoned

The experience and the buyout will change your life if you leverage it accordingly.

It is a toxic environment to avoid at all cost, especially S&T

Sadly agree. It’s an entirely different company from my interview process 5 years ago. All leaders that I took the went through the interview process with had anywhere between 10 and 25 years in the company. All have been forced out with VRP, impacted by “restructuring”, or have left for greener pastures - all leaving with the same piece of advice: this isn’t the old PepsiCo anymore… get out before it’s too late.
