Did everybody get a kick out of the latest Going Google Newsletter, uh, I mean propaganda rag?
Manipulated survey results, laughable fact-checking regarding Chromebooks, forcing everybody to give up Microsoft without anyone really having a say, you know managers will cow-tail to corporate and not issue exceptions to protect their departmental budget.
Absolutely infuriating even though we all knew it was coming.

Watch, they’ll make people who absolutely must keep a Microsoft license pay for it by deducting it from their paycheck, The penny pinchers will make the employees absorb the cost.
This is absolutely not that far fetched considering how much they show contempt for employees everyday. I mean sh*t, you got to pay for instant coffee in this joint.

Can anybody say with a straight face that Google has made a positive impact so far? Show me the productivity gains, show me the brilliance of Gemini (I’m sure it fully understands every nook and cranny of the business), show me how you are going to use it to increase sales.

@dd All this, and half my team just got new HP laptops in 2026, so they're going to incur the additional expense of replacing ALL these devices, for inferior children's toys? I'd ask what's wrong with these guys... but clearly, it's undiagnosed.
Chromebooks are used by 8 year olds all over the country for their goofy learning programs, they’re not professional devices… And multiple divisions in this company rely on Excel to function, sheets can’t handle it.
Google is semi-functional for small companies and personal use. But for a large, multinational company with thousands of employees, this is embarrassing and an abject failure of leadership. The executives making these decisions need to be the first people let go. Just complete, laughable, incompetency on a biblical scale.
This whole Google transition has been a nightmare and will never obtain any return on investment. Nothing surprises me anymore.
