Does anyone know if we’ll be hit tomorrow?

@17c
Have you seen the contract? They wouldn't let any of us see the slave contract when this all happened. They wouldnt even tell us the guaranteed time before layoffs(it was 9 months by the way) Allina basically just sold people. Anyways, I did get an opportunity later on to view it and there are plenty of clauses(albeit with a monetary cost) to break it. What ever your manager is you telling is a lie. Apply now and get out while you can.

@e8 My manager just reminds us that Allina signed a 10 year contract. As if contracts can’t be ended. Nothing about Sutter coming in. I would believe your manager over mine, though.

Allina is just sh-t, and optum is just sh-t period. I cant wait for the layoffs and my severance. I recently got hired at my new main job and I'll just stay logged in biding my time earning free money. It will be my early severance.

@h6 i appreciate all the “transparency” they’ve shared thus far, but from a leadership perspective it was probably not a wise choice. I think they are trying to backtrack to try and save face. I see this backfiring quickly

Our leaders claim they know nothing but I guess we'll see soon.

@op. I was told last week that my Epic position was going to be replaced by a Sutter analyst. I wasn't given an exact time frame, but over the next 2-3 months. My manager was nice enough to give me a heads up to start looking. I'd advise the rest as well. It doesn't sound like any of the original staff will have jobs for long due to the merger and oga staff.

Can you be more specific on what you mean by what things and fast? Fast is certainly relative.
