It depends on your alternatives. If you are currently unemployed, then take the job. Don't expect much except a paycheck. If you do take the offer, continue looking for another job.

The result's of the company's "employee satisfaction survey" showed abysmal scores of people saying "I would not recommend US Bank as a place to work" so sentiment here is accurate.

If you want to be a total slave then go for it. But it's hilarious that we have "Salaried employees" tracking how long they have sat in an office each month, we might as well all be hourly. It's a joke.

Also, even if you agree to the slavery and show up to the concentration work camp everyday like a good boy, there's still no guarantee they won't just ship your job to india next year anyway.

Not a chance in he-l i'd accept a job here if I didn't already work here unless my family was literally starving.

If you’re in India, go for it. Plenty of jobs coming I’m sure

If you are desperate for a job and full of self loathing I would take the offer, but realize all the grass is dead here if you are hoping for greener pastures. Work here consists of exchanging your daily freedom and enduring "punishment" (ponos) solely to secure a paycheck. With a focus on punishment. Our "leader" always says, "We put 'people' first."

Depends on the offer. This is the only company I've been at where low performance consulting/lawyer types can pull $200k a year while doing $3M in damage to the company a year.

If it will give you a better paycheck or you really need a job, go for it.

That said, many people are actively trying to leave and morale is through the floor here. Growth is limited, pay is below industry average, and leadership is either blissfully clueless or actively malicious. They will find any and every way to cut costs, and there’s a constant overhead threat of layoffs. This is no longer a destination employer.

Only if you’re desperate and are willing to keep looking because there is no light at the end of this tunnel. It’s a sinking ship.

How insecure are you? You may want to think about therapy.

Our current leadership will do anything out cut any job in the name of expense reduction. 10% on the company is now in India and the rest of us are just wondering when our jobs will either be moved or replaced with AI. The current c-suite doesn't give a cr-p. They're gone deaf. People all why merits are low, they won't take ownership of that, will tell us that it isn't and if you got a low one you should talk to your manager. If one of my DRs asked me, I'll show them the merit pool I was given to start with and what they let me keep. I hope something changes, but it feels like leadership knows we don't have places to go so they can get away with whatever.

OP - this isn't the place to ask that question and get an answer that's favorable.

If this is the only offer you have and you NEED a job... take it. If you have other options? Absolutely not. If you take it, keep looking. There is no future to be found here, or at any large bank now.

Not with the current leadership. In my opinion this is no longer a place I would recommend to potential employees. The atmosphere is brutal... low morale, low merit, low long-term career possibility, low confidence in stability.

From all the posts here, there isn't any large bank that is a desirable job.
