Biggest beneficiaries of DEI were women and white women in particular. Especially for manager and above levels.

Dude, nobody gets immunity when budgets get cut.
If anything, they might even be at greater risk. Corporate HR and legal teams are obsessed with avoiding discrimination and class-action lawsuits.
So they always engineer layoff lists to look demographically balanced - different genders, ages, ethnicities…
