Anyone have any insight as to why modeling was moved out of corporate risk?

Bloated with excess. They can do a 2x the work for 1/2 pay in India.
Modeling is a front line function. Development Centers of Excellence never belonged in risk.
probably because risk doesn't want anyone in California whereas Frontline still allows for it.
